How to use Critical Word Lists

Select and use the Critical Word List function

Critical Word Lists is a function, to take a closer look on a specific set of words or characters, especially if there are no deviations and therefore will not appear in the deviation list.

By default, TVT automatically loads the “Repeated Words” list prior to comparison.

Because it it very uncommon in every language that two times the same word follows one after the other, TVT will point out these occasions to find for example a double negative "not not".

1. To use and select the Critical Word Lists please choose one or multiple word Lists from thedrop-down list of the “Prepare” tab in the Wizard toolbar, prior to the comparison.

2.) After performing the comparison, the critical words can be viewed by selecting "Check Critical Words" from the "Check" Tab in the Wizard Toolbar

Please note: The Critical Word List function only highlights words found in mapped text.
