How to use Exclusion Word Lists

The functionality of Exclusion Word Lists and how they work

Exclusion Word Lists is a set of words that will be automatically excluded by default when the project is loaded.

The different Exclusion Word Lists are automatically applied with the Project Settings.

The Exclusion Word List "Simulated Lines" for example will exclude such characters like the equal sign, underscore, dots and asterisk as soon as they appear five or more itmes in a row. This will prevent you from unnecessary deviations.

1.) You can deselect Exclusion Word Lists if necessary in the Wizard Toolbar under "Prepare-Select Exclusion Word List"

2.) Now select the file you want to deactivate the Exclusion Word List, original or copy by selecting "Original" or "Copy"

3.) A dialog window will appear where you can confirm your selection with "Yes" or cancel the action with "No".

Even if you can also activate an Exclusion Word List the same way, we strongly recommend to use the proper Project Setting as those contain more functions to support the comparison process.
