You can influence the length of the report by adjusting the length of the context for each deviation.
To reduce the number of pages of your report you may reduce the length of the context for the deviations.
Before: 20 pages
After: 14 pages (note the reduced context for each deviation)
To reduce the length of the context, proceed as follows:
- open the User Settings in the Menu on the top left corner under "Project->User Settings" or with the shortcut "Ctrl+U"
- with the User settings window open, click on the Tab "Auto Comments"
3) In the field "Max. Deviation Text Characters" you can adjust the maximum number of words in the Auto Comments and therefore also in the comments in the report.
As a default the number should be set to 1500 characters. Adjust the number as you please and click "Ok" or "Apply" to confirm. We have made a good experience with numbers around 50-100 characters.
