No annotations are loaded in TVT
In general, TVT asks if you want to import annotations.
If you had chosen the "Don't show this message again" option in the past, this window won't pop up again.
If you choose to "Skip Annotations", TVT will not load the Annotations for this project, but will ask you again next time.
If you do not see the above message during loading, please follow these steps:
1) Open up the "User Settings" from the "Project" Menu in the Menu Bar in the upper left corner.
Pro Tip: You can access the User Settings easily with the "Ctrl +U" keyboard shortcut!
2) Select the PDF tab in the User Settings
3) Choose one of the three options in the drop-down menu next to "Annotations".
- "Do not load annotations" never imports the annotations
- "Ask before loading annotations" asks you every time you load a pdf with annotations if these should be imported
- "Automatically load annotations" will always load annotations (if the file contains any).
For imported annotations, you can also decide to show or hide them in the documents by using the drop-down menu of the Document Settings button and choosing "Old Annotations":
